Glendale Announces Special Council Meeting to Approve Runoff Election
The Glendale City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. to officially approve a runoff election on Nov. 2 in the Barrel and Ocotillo districts. During the primary election on Aug. 24, none of the city council candidates in those districts received 50 percent plus one vote to win the seat. Read more (PDF)

The Office of the City Clerk carries out the following duties:
- Prepares minutes of City Council meetings and workshops
- Posts minutes and agendas
- Conducts city elections
- Creates and stores electronic records
- Responds to public records requests
- Records city deeds
- Processes City's legal notices for publication
- Supervises the codification, supplement and distribution of the city code book
- Supervises city's records management program, including the circulation, recording, storing and microfilming of all permanent legal documents.
