It is an exciting time in the city of Glendale. Our neighborhoods have been a preferred environment for growing families for years. Businesses, too, have selected our city as their foundation for future success.
And the addition of Jobing.com Arena and the state-of-the-art University of Phoenix Stadium to Glendale's list of amenties has made our city the focus of national and global attention.
That is why now it is critical that we nurture the sense of community that has taken us this far. While our city continues to reach for the sky, our commitments must remain firmly rooted within the city and people we serve. We hope you will see that reflected in our Website.
Providing citizens with easy-to-find, vital information about essential services at the touch of a button was certainly a priority in our redesign efforts. But beyond that, we wanted to generate pride and excitement about our city through this important communication medium. Community calendars, educational opportunities and stories that capture the essence of Glendale’s residents were all part of the formula in building this new virtual destination. A design that encourages exploration while maintaining ease of use was also key, as was providing a tool for residents and visitors to easily connect with important city partners such as Luke Air Force Base.
