Thunderbird Conservation Park
59th Avenue, north of Deer Valley Road

• Parking Lot Resurfacing: In continuing with the park’s master plan recommendations, the existing decomposed granite surface parking lots located at 55th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak and 67th Avenue and Patrick Lane will be resurfaced with a desert environmental-friendly product that hardens the surface, allows for striping the parking lot, and meets Maricopa County environmental dust control standards.
  
  
• The parking lot improvements at 67th Avenue & Patrick Lane and 55th Avenue & Pinnacle Peak Road are both complete. The parking lots will now be on a warranty seal coating schedule for the next 5 years every February and August. The resealing process will be posted and announced at each lot in advance and will only involve a one-day closure of each parking lot.
