New Show about Bicycling in Maricopa County Debuts on Glendale 11 TV
Take a two-wheeled trip around the best bicycling spots in Maricopa County from the comfort of home with this new program airing on Glendale 11 TV. The show, "Maricopa Bicycling," highlights the picturesque regional bike network. You’ll also learn about the many environmental, economic, transportation and physical and mental health benefits bicycling brings to the region. Show airs Saturdays at 4 p.m.

“Get Your Green On” T-shirts
Be sure to stop by the Glendale Visitor Center to check out the new “Get Your Green On” t-shirts. Shirts are $15.00 and 100% of the proceeds will go towards enhancing the Glendale Xeriscape Demonstration Garden at the Glendale Main Library. The Glendale Visitor Center is located at 5800 W. Glenn Drive, Suite 140 Glendale AZ 85301. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. |

Renewable Energy Plant at the Glendale Landfill Powers up, celebrates with Lunch at Landfill
Did you ever wonder what happens to your trash when you throw it away? Traditionally, trash goes into the landfill and then immediately begins to decompose. But then what happens?
