On 5/28/2005 Police Officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of 67th Av and West Cinnabar Rd. Victim Scott Whallon had been discovered shot to death while he was a passenger in a vehicle driving in the area. A possible suspect vehicle had been observed by witnesses and was described as a newer model; Champaign colored Chevrolet Impala, with stock tires and rims.
