| Detectives from the Glendale Police Department are investigating the murder of 52 year old John David Garcia which occurred July 25, 2010 at approximately 6:25 pm. Glendale Detectives are seeking the public’s help from anyone who might have information on this murder.
Witnesses reported John David Garcia was in front of his residence located at 4937 W. Stella Rd. when he engaged in an altercation with the driver of a vehicle stopped in front of his residence. During the altercation John sustained a stab wound from the driver of the vehicle which then fled the area. Mr. Garcia was treated at a local hospital where he later died from his injuries a week later.
Witnesses contacted at the scene described the suspect driver as a heavy set, bald, Hispanic male driving a light brown or light green four door mid size sedan.
